How can I add embedded videos to my page?

Before you start adding your embedded video content, you need to choose the video streaming service you’ll be using.

We recommend using video streams that have the option of private access to the video, thus ensuring the security of your content. Here are some of the recommended services:

Vimeo Plus or PRO

Wistia

You can also use free video platforms, depending on your strategy. Here are some of the recommended services:

After you’ve chosen the service, upload the videos and change the privacy settings. 

Setting up a Private Video on YouTube

1. Go to the Video Manager
2. Select the video you wish to change and click Edit
3. On the right side, select Not Listed
4. Click Save Changes

Setting up a Private Video on Vimeo

1. Go to your video page
2. Immediately below the video player, click Settings
3. Click the Privacy tab and make the desired changes
4. Click Save

Now all you have to do is get the embed code for each video to add it to your respective pages. 

How to get the code from the video:

In the case of YouTube, for example, you get the code on the video preview page itself by identifying the share button. 

1. Click share under the player
2. Choose the Embed option
3. Copy the video code into your video streaming service
4. Paste the code onto the desired page in your content area

To access the "Source Code", click this button

5. Paste the Embed code into the blank space below.  After adding the code, save the page and your content will be available to your students.

The Club’s Video Streaming service allows your students to access your content without prior download, providing instant access to the lessons in your digital product.

To activate our Streaming service, follow the steps below:

1. Log into Hotmart 
2. Click on Products, on the menu on the left
3. Then click on Hotmart Club
4. Select your Members Area
5. Click on Products, on the menu on the left, and select the desired product
6. Within the Settings tab, check Yes under “Enable the Hotmart Video Player?”
7. With the Player enabled, you can add audio and video files to your page

Adding Content 

1. Select the Products option in the menu on the left.
2. Click on the desired product.
3. In the desired module click Add, and then, click Contents.

The field for uploading the file will be displayed in each module’s page editor. 

All video files hosted in the Club will be optimized, and the process takes about 5 minutes. In the meantime, you can save the page and continue working on other content.

Once the optimization is complete, the file will be updated automatically and you’ll be able to view it on your page. At this point, you can change your video’s thumbnail by clicking on the option that will appear immediately below the thumbnail, Change Image.

Up to 3 videos per page are allowed, and files must be a maximum of 1 GB in size. 

The Club Video Streaming service has an activation fee of $2.49 per approved sale. Since it’s a per-sale fee and not a recurring fee like a subscription (like hosting services for other tools), your expenses will be reduced in the long run. If you choose to deactivate this feature, the content registered in the tool will be blocked.

Important: because it’s a paid tool, Streaming is not valid for free modules, okay?
