How to create Avatars and produce videos in Smart Studio?

Smart Studio allows you to create and manage virtual Avatars generated by Artificial Intelligence, as well as produce complete videos with them!

In this article, you will find all the instructions for choosing and customizing your own Avatar, configuring audio and script options, and understanding how the credit system works when generating your content.

Important: Currently, videos and voiceovers generated in the tool are exclusively in Portuguese.

How to create an Avatar?

The process of creating and storing Avatars in your account is free, meaning this step does not consume your credit balance. To get started, follow these steps:

1. Access the tool's page at https://studio.hotmart.com and log in with your Hotmart account credentials.
2. In the Avatar library section, click + Create new.
3. The platform offers two distinct creation paths:
   • Use one of the avatars provided by Hotmart: A faster option where you select one of the models already provided by the platform, requiring no image upload.
   • Create a custom Avatar: You can upload your own photo or use AI to generate a model. When choosing AI, you can customize your Avatar's characteristics and upload images to be used as a creation base.
4. When you reach the image preview screen, if you are customizing an Avatar, click directly on the photo to enable the editing buttons. After clicking Save, your Avatar will be saved to your list to be used whenever you want.

How to generate a video with your Avatar?

Generating videos is the step that actually consumes credits from your account. To start producing your content, follow the steps below:

1. Access the platform via https://studio.hotmart.com and log in with your Hotmart account credentials.
2. On the main dashboard, in the How do you want to create your video? section, choose your desired starting option (I want to create a script, I have a script, I have audio, or I have a video).
3. If you select I want to create a script, choose your content category (General, Ads, Sales, Training, Thank You, or Educational), enter the central topic of your content, and click Continue.
4. On the editor screen, set the desired aspect ratio under Video format (Vertical 9:16 or Horizontal 16:9).
5. In the right-hand panel, click the + icon to select the Avatar from your library and choose your desired background.
6. Set the voiceover by clicking the voice selection field.
7. In the Video script field, review the text. You can edit it manually or click Redo or Improve this script to enhance the message using copywriting techniques.
8. In the side panel, choose the desired Artificial Intelligence Model (Hotmart Moon for the standard version or Hotmart Centauri for the high-definition HD version).
9. Check the estimated credit consumption and click Generate video.

How to buy credits?

To buy more credits or check your usage, click your credit balance located in the top bar of the platform. Doing so will give you access to two separate tabs:

• Credit History tab: Where you can view your balance usage statement.
• Buy Credits tab: Where you can select and purchase new credit packages.

Currently, there are three purchase options offering credits that do not expire, HD video quality, and removal of the tool's watermark:

❯ How many credits do I have and how do I check my balance?

When you access the platform for the first time, you receive 2,000 free credits to test the tool. As you generate videos, these credits are consumed.

To check your current balance or purchase more, simply click the coin icon (credits) at the top of the main page. There, you will also have access to your full consumption history.

❯ Can I create Avatars of minors or produce content with famous people?

No. To create an Avatar using the image or voice of a real person, you must obtain express consent. In the case of minors, creation is strictly prohibited regardless of parental consent. Learn more details in the Ethical-AI Use Agreement

❯ Do I need to notify my audience that the video was generated by Artificial Intelligence?

Yes, identification is mandatory. All content generated by the tool, when published or shared with third parties, must be clearly identified (for example, by adding the text "This video was generated by artificial intelligence" in the description or on the video itself).

❯ Which payment methods are accepted to buy credits?
