What are the reasons why my Hotmart account can be blocked?

Your Hotmart account may be blocked for any conduct that is characterized as a violation of Hotmart's Terms of Use or for security reasons in our system.

The most common reasons for an account to be blocked are:

1 - Spam

Spam is the term used to refer to electronic messages sent to people without their consent. The practice of spam violates Hotmart's Terms of Use and, if confirmed by the internal team, may lead to the permanent blocking of the account of the user responsible.

2 - Piracy

Blocking on suspicion of piracy occurs when our security system identifies that a user has made several downloads/accesses of the same purchase via different IPs/networks. This blocking is done to guarantee your security, as this type of behavior on your account indicates that it may be being used by someone else.

3 - Mass registration of products

This type of blocking occurs when a user registers several products, and these products do not comply with our Terms of Use, or when the same product is registered several times. Remember, all products must respect Hotmart’s authorship rules and all the rules in the General Policy for the Responsible Use of Hotmart. 

4 - Multiple login attempts

This blocking occurs when there are too many failed login attempts. It is done for security reasons, as this type of behavior may indicate that a third party is trying to access your account.  

5 - Underage user as a creator/affiliate/co-creator

According to the terms of use, only people who are of legal age and/or emancipated in accordance with the applicable legislation may create accounts as creators, affiliates and/or co-creators at Hotmart. If we identify the registration of a user who does not comply with the information described above, the account may be blocked.
