How do I become an Affiliate to a product on Hotmart?

The first step to become an Affiliate to a product on the Hotmart platform is to have an account registered under your email. If you don’t have a login, go to https://www.hotmart.com/en/ and click Register for Free.

If you already have a login:

- If you registered at Hotmart, your account will already be set up as an Affiliate/Producer account.

- If you bought a product on the Hotmart platform, you already have an account. In this case, however, you need to update your account to have an Affiliate/Producer profile. Learn how to do that in the article How do I update my buyer account to an Affiliate/Producer account?

Note: You will only become an Affiliate to a product after receiving confirmation of the registration data. To do this, click on My Account in the top-right menu, and on the new page, select the tab Personal Information.

After you do this, you’ll be one step closer to start working as an Affiliate. Now, you just need to affiliate yourself to a product and start promoting it.

How do I become an Affiliate:

With a Producer/Affiliate account already registered, you must follow these steps to start your journey:

1. Login to your Hotmart account through the link: https://app-vlc.hotmart.com/login

2. On the left side Menu, choose Market 

Here you’ll have the marketplace of all the products available for affiliation. If you already have a specific product in mind, just look directly for it. You can choose to display the Hottest, Most Loved, or Most Recent products. You can also use the search filter to refine your search according to the Affiliation Type, Price, % commission, Commissioning Rules, Subject, Format, Currency, Language, Country, and Tools.

Tip: Refine your search even further! For example, choose by segment and type of affiliation and within the results, select between displaying the hottest, most loved, or most recent products.

3. After you find the product you want and decide to become an Affiliate, click on its title to open the details of the product and then click on Affiliate Now or Request Affiliation 

What's the difference between‘ Request Affiliation’ and ‘Affiliate Now’?  In Affiliate Now, you just click the button to immediately become an Affiliate of the product and access its HotLinks to start promoting. If the button is Request Affiliation, your request will be sent to the Producer for approval.

Following you affiliation requests:

If you have applied to become an Affiliate for a product that requires Affiliate approval, it’s important that you keep track of this process. To do so, just follow the steps below:

1. Click on Products
2. Then, click on I’m an Affiliate
3. Select Requests Sent. In this tab, you can see your Affiliate requests using the filter on the right, sorting by product name or request status. You can also cancel requests if you wish.

You can follow your pending affiliation requests. To do so:

1. Just click Affiliations on the left side menu 

2. Go to the tab Requests Sent 

On this screen you can check the your requests status and cancel requests by clicking the (X) at the end of the request.
