Each time a sale is successfully made, 4 parties can receive commissions: the creator, the cocreator, Hotmart, and an affiliate.
Commissions for creators, cocreators, and affiliates are always calculated from the net sales price and not the product’s gross price. In other words, Hotmart’s fee is subtracted from the product’s full price, and then, the creator's, cocreator's, and affiliate's commissions are calculated.
So, after subtracting Hotmart’s fee, the commission percentage set up for the affiliate and for the creator, is deducted. Finally, there’s the creator's commission.
Check out examples of how commissions at Hotmart are calculated here.
But don’t you worry! You don’t need to do this math at Hotmart. Every time you view a product, whether on a detailing screen or a search result, the information of how much money each party involved will get you be shown automatically.
