How does the 2-day payment schedule work globally (except Brazil)?

Getting paid quickly is key to growing your digital business. That’s why Hotmart created a faster payment schedule for creators all around the world (excluding Brazil), allowing you to receive 90% of your net revenue within just 2 business days (D+2), instead of the standard 15-day period (D+15).

With this new D+2 payment schedule, 90% of your net revenue is available just two business days after each sale. The remaining 10% is held for 15 days to cover potential refunds or chargebacks.

How does the 2-day payment schedule work?

Once you activate the D+2 schedule, all future sales will follow this payment structure:

• 90% of your net revenue is released for withdrawal 2 business days after the sale.
• The remaining 10% is paid after 15 calendar days, temporarily held to cover potential refunds or chargebacks.

A processing fee of 0.97% applies to your total net revenue (excluding VAT or other sales taxes).

Note: Installment purchases made in Mexican Pesos (MXN) and Brazilian Reais (BRL) aren’t eligible yet but will be included soon.

❯ Who’s eligible to activate the 2-day payment schedule?

        To qualify, you must:

• Keep your Hotmart account active with recurring sales;
• Keep your personal and financial information up to date on the platform;
• Make sure your Hotmart account has no restrictions or blocks;
• Avoid high refund and chargeback rates by clearly communicating what your product offers and ensuring a good experience for your buyers.

❯ How can I activate the D+2 payment schedule?

We’re rolling out this feature gradually to eligible creators around the globe (except Brazil).

If the product is already available for direct activation in your dashboard, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Home page or click on Wallet > Balance.
2. Click on the 2-Day Payment Schedule banner.
3. On the next page, click any activation button and confirm with your security token.
4. Done! You’ll see a confirmation message, and the new payout time will be active on your account.

❯ Where can I track the advanced payouts?

After activating the 2-day payment schedule, you can track the available and pending amounts from your new sales directly in Wallet > Statement:

• The amount eligible for the 2-day payout schedule will be displayed under the new schedule. Until it’s available, it’ll appear as a future transaction.
• Any remaining amounts not eligible for advance payout (default 15-day availability) will also appear as future transactions until they’re credited.
  

❯ Can I switch back to the standard 15-day payment schedule?

Yes, to return to the 15-day payment schedule, just follow these steps:

1. On the platform, click on your profile picture in the top right corner.
2. Go to the My Account menu and select Financial Information from the left-side menu.
3. Click on View available payment schedules.
4. Select the 15-day payment schedule.
5. Confirm with your security token and you'll receive a confirmation of the change.
   
   

❯ What about payments to cocreators and affiliates?

Cocreators and affiliates linked to your products will automatically follow the same payment schedule you choose. That means if you activate the 2-day schedule, they’ll receive their commissions within 2 days as well.
