What is a direct payment promotional link (Hotlink)?

With a direct payment Hotlink, creators can promote the product on their own website or blog and associate this link with visitors' purchase orders.

What is a sales page promotional link (Hotlink)?

A sales page Hotlink is available for affiliates and creators. This link takes the visitor to a sales page, automatically created by Hotmart, which may have been customized by the creator of that product. This type of promotional link allows users to promote a product right away without having to create another website.

How are promotional links (Hotlink) for affiliates different?

Affiliate's Hotlinks have a unique identifier referring to a specific product and associated with the user's account at Hotmart. When affiliates use the promotional link, Hotmart is able to identify sales made by that user.

Attention: Promotional links will always follow this pattern: http://www.go.hotmart.com/XYZ

The XYZ code in the example is the affiliate code, and each affiliate has a unique code.

How to find promotional links on the Hotmart platform

To locate your promotional link in your Hotmart account, follow the steps below:

1. Access your Hotmart account at https://app-vlc.hotmart.com/login
2. In the left side menu, click on Products
3. Select I'm a creator, I'm an affiliate, or I'm a co-creator
4. Choose the product for which you want the promotional link 
5. Click on the See Promotional Links button next to the product

Done! Now you just have to copy the links and promote the product according to your sales strategy. 

How to share your Promotional Links (Hotlinks) via QR codes and social media

On the Hotmart platform, you can copy the link and use it to promote your products. However, there's also the possibility of downloading a QR code, which contains the embedded link.

To download the QR Code, follow the steps below:

1. Access your Hotmart account at the link: https://app-vlc.hotmart.com/login;
2. On the left side menu, click on Products;
3. Select I'm a creator, I'm an affiliate, or I'm a cocreator;
4. Choose the product for which you want the promotional link;
5. Click on See Promotional Links next to the product;
6. Select the option Download QR Code;
7. Choose the file format to download (PNG or SVG);
8. Click Download QR Code.

You can also share your Promotional Link (Hotlink) directly on social media. To do that, follow the steps  below:

1. Access your Hotmart account at the link: https://app-vlc.hotmart.com/login;
2. On the left side menu, click on Products;
3. Select I'm a creator, I'm an affiliate, or I'm a cocreator;
4. Choose the product for which you want the promotional link; 
5. Click on the See Promotional Links button next to the product;
6. Click on the Promote button on the right side;
7. Choose the social platform where you want to promote the product;
8. Select the contacts who’ll receive the link and click continue.
