How do I earn points to reach the top 5 of the course I purchased?

The student ranking is a feature available in the Hotmart members area, where you can see your position in relation to other students. This tool is enabled by the creator of the course, so if it's not available, we recommend contacting them as described in this article. 

If you are active in the communities, commenting on your peers' posts and receiving reactions and comments on yours, accumulating points will be easy and fun. Points are earned through your interactions in the community, such as commenting, replying to comments and reacting to posts. In addition, each lesson completed also contributes to your points total.

Points are continuously accumulated from the start of the ranking, and the count is updated only once a day. The five students with the most points appear in the ranking, which is visible to everyone in the members area. The more you interact and learn, the greater your chances of being in the top 5!

Can I receive rewards by earning points?

Some creators offer rewards to students as an incentive, depending on course performance. These rewards are defined by the creator and, if available, can be viewed on the Score and Ranking page of the product you purchased.

❯ To check if you have rewards available, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your Hotmart account using this link: https://consumer.hotmart.com/.
2. In My purchases, select the product you want to check for rewards.
3. Click on the left side menu and choose the Score and Ranking option.
4. On the Score and Ranking page, you’ll find the rules set by the creator, as well as your earned points, ranking position, and available rewards.
5. In the Rewards section, you’ll see all rewards enabled for the product.
   Important: If this section is not visible, it means the creator has not activated the rewards feature for this product.
6. Click on Show details to view all available rewards. They may appear in three different states:
   • Blocked: rewards that haven’t been unlocked yet because you haven’t accumulated enough points.
   • Available: rewards that are ready to be redeemed but haven’t been claimed yet.
   • Redeemed: rewards you’ve already claimed.
7. When rewards are available, click the Redeem button to access them.

No, points are only counted from the moment the ranking is activated by the course creator.

No, if you are in the top five positions, your name and photo will be visible to other students.

❯ I'm not earning points. What could be happening?

Scoring is exclusive to users with student profiles. If you have an administrator or moderator role on the platform, you won't earn points.
