The TikTok Pixel is a tool that can help everyone working with paid traffic to measure, optimize, and influence the creation of audiences focused on their campaigns on the social network. It operates with a code that, when configured on your sales page, payment page, and thank you page, allows them to be mapped along with your TikTok campaign flow. Here's how to set it up:
❯ First step: obtaining the identifier
- Go to your TikTok Ads account (https://ads.tiktok.com/i18n/events_manager/).
- In the top menu, click on Tools and then on Events.
- Next, click on the pink button Connect data source.
- In the box that opens, select the first "web" card and click Next.
- Choose the Manual setup option and click Next.
- Set a name for your Pixel and click Next.
- Click on Skip this step. If you wish, you can set up TikTok funnel configuration later.
- On the next page, select only the Custom code option.
- Click on Confirm at the bottom of the page.
- Finally, copy the generated Pixel ID.
❯ Second step: setting up the TikTok pixel on the Hotmart platform
- Access your Hotmart account through the link https://app.hotmart.com/.
- In the nine-dot side menu, click on Tools.
- Click on Tracking Pixel.
- Select the product and click on the TikTok provider card.
- Then, paste the identifier.
- Click Continue and set the pixel sending options.
a. To learn more about these advanced settings, access this article. - Select the sending methods you want. We recommend using both web and API sending and Tiktok will deduplicate the events.
a. For API sending, you need to insert the token. To get it, navigate to the Settings tab and find the Generate access token button. Clicking on it will generate the token, just copy and paste.
- Click Finish to complete the setup. And that's it, the pixel is active!
