How to watch your course on TV?

When you purchase products on Hotmart, you can watch your classes on your mobile phone, tablet, computer, or TV.

In this article, we explain how to watch your courses on a Smart TV by mirroring the content through the Hotmart app.

How to mirror my course to the TV using the Hotmart app?

Before you begin, you need to install the Hotmart app on your smartphone (available on the App Store and Google Play).

If you already have it installed, you can stream your courses to your TV in two ways:

❯ Watching your course on TV using Chromecast 

1. Open the Hotmart app on your smartphone.
2. Log in using the same email address and password used to purchase the product.
3. On the home screen, tap My Purchases.
4. Select the course and press play on the video you want to watch.
5. Tap the screen mirroring icon in the player.
6. Select your Chromecast device to start streaming.

❯ Watching your course on TV using Chromecast 

If you use Apple TV or have a Smart TV compatible with AirPlay, follow these steps:

1. Open the Hotmart app on your smartphone.
2. Log in using the same email address and password used to purchase the product.
3. On the home screen, tap My Purchases.
4. Select the course and press play on the video you want to watch.
5. Tap the screen sharing icon.
6. Select the device (Apple TV or compatible TV) to start streaming.

Important: Streaming content from the Hotmart app to your TV is only possible using the options described above (Chromecast or AirPlay). Hotmart does not provide support for streaming performed through other non-compatible devices or methods.

How to watch my course on TV using a computer

If you are unable to mirror your content through the app, you can also connect your computer or laptop to your TV using an HDMI cable.

1. Connect the devices.
2. Access your Hotmart account through your browser.
3. Play the course normally on your TV.

The HDMI cable allows you to transmit audio and video directly from your computer to your television.

❯ Why can't I view my course content on my TV?

Only content hosted on Hotmart Club (Members Area) and with the Hotmart Video Player enabled can be played in the app.
Other content like texts, live classes, quizzes, comments, supporting materials, or formats like eBooks and live events can be accessed through your computer, tablet, or the Hotmart app on your phone.

❯ How can I access the additional content shown on my TV?

To easily access additional content, just open the Hotmart app on your mobile device. Tap the gear icon in the top-right corner and then select QR Code. Point your camera at the code displayed on your TV screen.
