If you created a product on Hotmart and now want to delete it, it’s important to understand how the process works and how it could impact both your customers and affiliates. In this article, we’ll explain everything you need to know and provide step-by-step instructions to delete your product.
What happens when a product is deleted?
Before proceeding, it’s essential to understand the effects of deleting a product:
-
Downloadable products (like eBooks and templates):
Buyers will still have access to the content as long as they’ve already downloaded it to their device. -
Products in a members area (like online courses or digital events):
Once the product is deleted, access will be discontinued, and users won’t be able to view the content. -
Impact on affiliates:
All affiliates promoting the product will be notified by email, and the deletion process will take three days to complete. This is because the removal directly affects commissions generated from sales.
