By setting up a tracking pixel in Hotmart Club, you can monitor students’ behavior within the course during their learning experience, from accessing content to interacting with lessons. Now, you can track when a student has watched a lesson, unmarked a lesson as completed, or even accessed a course.
A tracking pixel is a code embedded in a webpage that allows tracking user behavior while browsing. It collects data on specific actions such as clicks, page views, purchases, and other interactions, and sends these events to a system.
Tracking pixels can be created by various providers such as Facebook, Google, and others. To track events in Hotmart Club, you need to create a Facebook pixel and then insert it into Hotmart. This way, events will be sent directly to your Facebook account.

What Events Can I Track with the Pixel?
When setting up the tracking pixel in Hotmart, you can choose between three categories that allow you to receive different types of information, also known as events:
- Hotmart Sales and Product Pages: Information about purchase behavior, page views, and checkout page access. See more details in this article.

Hotmart Club - Catalog: Information about access and purchases on the main Hotmart Club screen.
- Pre-consumption events: You will be notified when a user clicks on an item or product in the catalog.
- Sales events: You can track when a user clicks on the product for sale or the purchase button inside the combo modal.

Hotmart Club - Courses and Lessons:
- Lesson events: You will be notified when a student marks or unmarks a lesson as completed.
- Course events: Tracking will occur when the student accesses the course after purchasing it.
How to Set Up a Tracking Pixel for My Product?
The tracking pixel is created on Facebook, and with the code in hand, you need to follow the next steps.
❯ To set up the tracking pixel, just follow the steps below:
- Log in to your Hotmart account at https://app.hotmart.com.
- In the left-side menu, click on Tools and then select Show all.
- Select Tracking Pixel.
- Choose what you want to track: Sales Page, Hotmart Club - Catalog, or Hotmart Club - Courses and Lessons.
- Select the product.
- Click on Facebook + Instagram.
- Enter the Facebook Pixel ID and click Continue.
- Select the event types you want to track and click Continue.

Choose how you want to send events to Facebook: WEB, Conversion API, or both.
- For the Conversion API, you will need a token from the Facebook Events Manager.
- Finally, click Save to complete the process. Your pixel is now set up and ready to use!
Important: With the latest update to the Meta platform, it is no longer necessary to configure a domain for running ads. To streamline the process, this step has been removed from the current pixel setup. If you had previously configured a custom domain, don't worry—it will remain active and function as usual.
The Hotmart Club tracking pixel is integrated with Facebook, but new integration providers will be gradually added.
