Customizing your members area is a great way to offer a unique experience that aligns with your brand’s identity for your students.
In this article, we explain step-by-step how to set up each available option in the Hotmart Club customization section, making it easier to create an environment that stands out and adds value to your products. To start, you’ll need to access the members area you want to customize. Just follow the steps below:

Log in to your Hotmart account through this link: https://app.hotmart.com.

In the left-hand menu, click Products, then select Members area.

Choose the members area you want to configure and click Customization in the left-hand menu.

On the new screen, you’ll see options like Edit theme, Display, Login screen, and a list of all the products registered in the members area.
You can apply different types of customization to each of these options. Below, we’ll explain what you can configure in each section:
❯ Edit theme: Customize your members area with your brand’s visual identity
When you click Edit theme, you’ll be able to choose the colors, theme, and headers that will define the visual identity of your Hotmart Club. These settings are key to strengthening your brand’s presence and ensuring that students associate your content with your brand right away.
In the Default color and theme tab, you can configure the colors of your Hotmart Club by following these steps:

Define the Default color by selecting one of the suggested colors or entering the specific color code that best represents your brand.

In Default theme, choose between light or dark mode and decide if students can switch between themes according to their preferences.

Once you’ve finished, click Post to save the changes.
In the Your brand tab, you can customize the top section of your members area with your brand’s logo and visual elements. Follow these steps to configure the header:

Upload a Header image that represents your brand. Choose an image suitable for both light and dark themes with a PNG format, with a transparent background and a maximum size of 180x48 pixels.

If you’ve enabled theme switching in the Default color and theme tab, students will be able to change the display theme. Therefore, it’s a good idea to select images that contrast well with both themes.

Add Alt text to the image to ensure it’s accessible to people with visual impairments.

Once you’ve finished, click Post to save your changes.

❯ Showcase: Use the main page of your members area to promote your products
In the Showcase section, when you click Customize, you can set up a dynamic banner that appears on the main page of your members area, and you can also organize your content into categories or modules.
In the Banner tab, you can define dynamic images that will appear on the home screen of your Club. This is perfect for highlighting announcements, offers, or important messages. Follow these steps:

Select up to three images or videos to compose the carousel. Use the following recommended dimensions for optimal display:

Banner for desktops: 1920x800 pixels.

Banner for smartphones: 720x960 pixels.
-
GIFs must be no larger than 5 MB.

Define Alt text for each banner image to ensure your content is accessible.

If you want, add Text to the banner to emphasize a specific message or include a Button that redirects students to an external page.

Alternatively, you can also enable an External link on the banner to allow students to be redirected outside the members area with a single click.
In the Sections tab, you can organize your content into sections, tracks, or modules to make navigation easier for your students. Follow these steps:

When you click Sections, you’ll see some predefined sections in your Club, such as “Keep watching,” “My purchases,” and “Products for sale.” If you want to hide or edit them, simply click the section’s name and make the necessary changes.

If you want to create additional sections, click + Create section and select Products, Tracks, or Modules.

If you choose to create a Products section:
- Create a title for the section, such as “Featured” or “New courses,” that clearly describes the content.
- Choose the cover format (horizontal or vertical) for the products or modules you want to highlight.
- Select the products to be displayed in the section. Only products with active sales will be shown.

If you choose to create a Tracks or Modules section:
- Create a title that clearly describes the content.
- Select the products or modules to be linked to the section. Only products with active sales will be shown.

Finally, organize the order of the sections as needed by clicking the two-line icon to the left of the section’s name and dragging it to the desired position.
Remember, each members area can contain up to 12 sections, and each section can include up to 12 products or modules.

❯ Login screen: Add a background image to the login page
In the Login Screen section, when you click Customize, you can define the background image for the students’ login page. Personalizing this screen is a great way to provide a professional and consistent look from the very first interaction. Follow these steps:

In the Login Screen tab, click Upload media to add a background image.
- Upload an image with the recommended dimensions: 2912x2160 pixels, with a JPEG or PNG format, and maximum size of 8 MB.

If you need to adjust your brand’s visual identity, go to the Edit theme > Your brand section and make the necessary changes.

Once you’ve completed the configuration, click Post to apply the changes.

❯ Product customization: Customize each product in your members area
In the list of products within your members area, click Customize, located to the right of the product’s name, to access the product’s customization screen.
On the new screen, you’ll be able to define the Module display as a list or gallery. Additionally, you can set up the product’s Banner, Avatar, and Main image, including alt text to ensure accessibility. Lastly, you can define the cover images for your showcase and choose whether the orientation should be vertical or horizontal.

To preview how your members area looks after applying the customizations, simply click the button with the eye icon.
